What an incredible week I had! Being a franchisor means wearing many hats, and I had the absolute pleasure of spending two full days out on the road visiting some of our brilliant franchisees across the country. It was such a joy to step into their worlds, see their sessions in action, and take time to chat about their exciting plans for 2026.

Coffee, Conversations and Future Plans in Derby

My first stop was to see Emma, our franchisee in Derby who has been with us for 12 years. Emma manages her area whilst her class teachers go out and run the Boogie Beat sessions. We started our morning with a coffee and a relaxed catch-up, something that can be hard to carve out time for when life gets busy! It was so lovely to sit together and talk about her goals for 2026, how her area is growing, and what she’s excited to build next year.

Emma’s passion for her franchise and her community really shines through, and having that face-to-face time reminded me how important these visits are. Listening to her ideas and supporting her vision was a real highlight of the day.

A Lunch Date & Nursery Sessions in Nottingham

Next, I headed over to see Polly, who neighbours Emma’s territory in Nottingham. Polly and I met for lunch and, again, spent valuable time talking through her 2026 plans. Even though she has only been with us for a year and a half, she has already achieved amazing results and hit every target she set in her initial business plan. Truly incredible!

After lunch, I joined Polly for an hour at one of her nurseries where we delivered both a baby session and a preschool session. Watching her bring Boogie Beat alive in her area was such a special moment. The children’s faces lit up as the songs and stories unfolded, and seeing their reactions reminded me why our programme has such a powerful impact.

It was a fun-filled afternoon, and I left feeling so proud of everything Polly has achieved.

A Transformational Journey in Northampton

The following day, I travelled to Northampton to see Sharon. Next year marks Sharon’s 10-year anniversary with Boogie Beat, and what a journey she has had. After running sessions part-time alongside her teaching job, Sharon made the leap last year to take Boogie Beat full time and the transformation has been phenomenal.

Her numbers, her confidence, and her vision for her business have all grown dramatically. Sharon is already planning to bring on a class teacher in 2026 so she can continue expanding. I also joined her for an hour in one of her nurseries, enjoying baby, toddler and preschool groups in action. The children were engaged, joyful, and full of energy, it was wonderful to be part of it.

Why These Visits Matter

Spending time with three of our fantastic franchisees was incredibly valuable for me as a franchisor. These visits are absolutely something I plan to continue throughout 2026.

It’s so important to step back from the desk, get out into the field, and see Boogie Beat happening in real time. Although we all follow our lesson plans, every franchisee brings their own magic and personality to the sessions and it’s beautiful to see that creativity in action. These visits also give me new ideas to take back to the wider team.

I left each visit feeling privileged, inspired and excited for everything our network will achieve next year. I truly cannot wait to visit even more of our amazing franchisees across the country in 2026!
