As we look back on 2025, it’s truly incredible to see just how much we achieved throughout the year. From welcoming new franchisees to attending national events, celebrating awards, supporting charities, and bringing our community together, this year has been one to remember.

We kicked off the year in January by welcoming Michelle, who launched her Boogie Beat franchise in Sheffield. February then saw us head to Birmingham for the Small Business Sunday event, hosted by Theo Paphitis. Meeting Theo in person, collecting our certificates, networking with other small businesses, and learning from inspiring entrepreneurs made it an unforgettable experience. This was followed by a wonderful feature in our local newspaper highlighting the event.

In March, our Nottingham franchisee Polly was a runner-up at the Nottingham Baby & Toddler Awards for her start-up business, an incredible achievement that made us all so proud.

April was a busy and impactful month. We hosted an insightful Q&A session with Nicole from Friendly SEND Advisor, supporting our ongoing commitment to inclusivity. Throughout 2025, this work has included introducing sensory tubs, gaining Gold SEND Inclusion Badges, and ensuring our sessions are accessible and welcoming for all children and families. April also marked our first Action for Children charity event, themed Beautiful Bugs, raising an amazing £640 through a week of dressing up and fun.

May and June were filled with celebration and connection. We attended the Club Hub Awards in Birmingham, where we were finalists for Leader of the Year and Franchise of the Year (15+ franchisees), and we were named a Top 100 Children’s Activity Provider in the UK. In June, we welcomed Kerrie to the Boogie Beat family as she launched her area in Basingstoke, and we also attended a Small Business Sunday Regional Bootcamp in London, forming valuable connections that continued throughout the year.

Later in the year, we were thrilled to be finalists at the Disruptive Franchise Awards for Franchisor of the Year and Inclusivity Champion of the Year. September brought two major highlights: attending the CAA Ignite Conference at Sky Studios in London, and hosting our very special 25th Boogie Beat Franchise Conference. With balloon arches, a professional photographer, a stunning cake, and a day packed with learning and laughter, it was truly magical. We were joined by Tamara from Dot & Stripe, who shared marketing insights, and Daisy First Aid, who also supported the day. During our internal awards, Polly won Brilliant Beginning of the Year, Sharon received Achiever of the Year, and Mairi was named Franchisee of the Year.

October saw Mairi recognised again as a finalist at the Women’s Enterprise Scotland Awards, and in November we held our second Action for Children charity event, A Teddy Bears’ Picnic, raising £540 and providing 108 teddies for children this Christmas. November also included a road trip to visit three franchisees, spending valuable time supporting their goals and celebrating their progress. The month ended on a high with the National Children’s Awards, attended with Jodie, our Gloucester franchisee, who was a finalist for Most Loved Activity in Wales and the South West.

December rounded off the year with festive parties, Christmas sessions, and our much-loved online franchisee Christmas drinks event, full of silly games, laughter, and a chance to celebrate everything we achieved together.

2025 has truly been an incredible year for Boogie Beat, and we’re so excited to see what 2026 has in store. Watch this space there’s so much more to come!
