As 2024 draws to a close, I couldn’t be more thrilled to announce that Boogie Beat Music and Movement has been crowned the Business Award UK Winner in the category of Franchise Business Excellence for Franchise Support! This recognition is a true testament to the hard work, dedication, and passion we’ve put into building a solid foundation for our franchise network since I took over ownership in 2022.
When I first stepped into the role, one of my top priorities was to transform the support we provide to our franchisees. I’m proud to say that we’ve made huge strides in this area, and it’s been a rewarding journey so far. We’ve redefined our franchisee training process, ensuring it’s comprehensive, accessible, and continues beyond the initial stages. This ongoing support is essential for the success of our franchisees, and it’s been incredible to see how the new structure has helped them grow their businesses.
We’ve also completely revamped our marketing materials to make them more user-friendly. Franchisees now have tools that allow them to implement marketing strategies quickly and effectively, cutting down on time and effort while boosting visibility. Additionally, we’ve simplified our back-office systems, making them more intuitive and available 24/7. Everything our franchisees need to run their business is at their fingertips, anytime they need it.
One of the highlights of this year was introducing new monthly financial templates for our franchisees. These templates give them clear insights into their business performance, enabling them to track progress, manage costs, and set achievable goals for the future. This financial transparency and strategic planning is an important factor in helping them thrive.
To be recognised with this prestigious award is truly a privilege. I’m incredibly grateful for the support of my amazing team. Their hard work and dedication have played a crucial role in making this achievement a reality. Together, we’ve created something special, and this award is for all of us.
A Year Full of Awards and Recognition
2024 has been nothing short of remarkable for us at Boogie Beat. Our efforts to increase visibility and recognition in the children’s activity sector have paid off in more ways than one. Not only did we win the Business Award UK for Franchise Support, but we also celebrated several other incredible achievements:

We were also finalists in the Virtual Franchise Awards for Marketing, the Disruptive Franchise Awards for Online Presence, and the Business Awards UK for Marketing. It’s an honour to be recognised for the hard work we’ve been putting into growing and strengthening the business.
Our franchisees have been making waves as well! Mairi from our Edinburgh and Mid East Lothian franchise has had an exceptional year, winning multiple awards, including EWIF New Woman Franchisee of the Year, and the FSB Scottish and National Franchise Business Awards. She has also been a finalist in several other prestigious awards. Her success is a shining example of what’s possible when passion and hard work come together.
Beyond awards, we’ve also had a blast participating in networking events across the UK. From attending awards ceremonies to being part of the Club Hub Events, What’s On for Kids, and the Disruptive Franchise Awards, it’s been fantastic meeting other activity providers, sharing knowledge, and increasing brand awareness.
Looking Ahead to 2025: Bigger and Better Than Ever!
As we head into 2025, there’s so much to look forward to. We’ll be celebrating Boogie Beat’s 25th anniversary of bringing music and movement to children across the UK! To mark this milestone, we’ve teamed up with the incredible Action for Children charity. We’ll be hosting fundraising events throughout the year to support their work, and we’re committed to continuing our support for local charities in the communities we serve.
But that’s not all – we’ve got some exciting new developments in the pipeline for 2025 that we can’t wait to share with you. It’s going to be a huge year for Boogie Beat, and we’re all so excited to take our franchise network and business to new heights.
2024 has been a year of growth, recognition, and success, not just for me personally but for the entire Boogie Beat team. We’re stronger than ever, and we remain deeply committed to providing children with the best music and movement sessions that help their imaginations come alive. Through traditional stories, active dancing, rhymes, and songs, we create an environment where children’s confidence shines.
It’s such a privilege to be part of these children’s early years, and we feel incredibly lucky to do what we do every day. Being able to call this our job is truly the best.
