This year, Naomi is celebrating an incredible milestone, five years of Boogie Beat. Over that time, she has built a thriving full-time business, supported by her team of teachers, and created something truly special for families in her community. Two years ago Naomi purchased a neighbouring territory when it was up for sale, Cheddar, the expansion and dedication Naomi has had on merging the 2 areas and the success she has achieved has been incredible. This has resulted in her very recently purchasing a third area to expand into.
The Beginning
From the very beginning, it’s been the people that have meant the most to her. Naomi says that one of the best parts of Boogie Beat is the children and watching them grow each week, while building bonds with families. Those weekly sessions have become more than just classes, they’re a place where confidence grows, friendships form, and families connect. Running weekly parent and child sessions and also Early years workshops in nurseries and preschools Naomi and her team have built and incredible business in the Weston, Yatton and Somerset areas.
Alongside that, the storytelling element has played a huge role in her journey. Naomi loves the stories and seeing the children’s imagination flourish, watching little ones lose themselves in the magic of movement and creativity. And of course, at the heart of everything is the music, the energy that brings every session to life.
The Challenges
Like any business journey, it hasn’t all been easy. Naomi is open about the fact that running a franchise comes with challenges, but for her, it has been well and truly worth it. Even after five years, she’s still learning every day but that’s part of what keeps it exciting, and it’s clear she genuinely loves what she does.
The Support
A huge part of that success has been the support behind her. When asked about head office, Naomi describes it as simply unbelievable, highlighting just how important that guidance and encouragement has been throughout her journey.
The Future
Looking ahead, Naomi has big plans for the future of her business. Investing in her 3rd territory she is focused on growing in new areas, expanding her SEND sessions, and bringing Boogie Beat into more care homes, continuing to widen the impact she’s already made.
For anyone thinking about joining Boogie Beat, Naomi doesn’t hesitate. Her advice is clear: do it!! It’s a reflection of her own experience and the opportunities she’s found along the way.
And when it comes to the future, her goal is a simple and powerful one, she hopes to still be doing Boogie Beat and doing what she loves. After five amazing years, it’s easy to see why.
Congratulations, Naomi!
Five years of music, movement, imagination, and community is something truly worth celebrating. Naomi’s journey is a wonderful example of what Boogie Beat is all about, and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings.
