Have you ever wondered what your week could look like if you were running a Boogie Beat franchise in your local area?

I’m Hannah, the owner of Boogie Beat Music and Movement. Alongside running the franchise, I am also a franchisee in my own area – and I’ve been delivering Boogie Beat sessions for the past 10 years. I thought it would be lovely to give you a little glimpse into what a typical week looks like in my area and how I bring Boogie Beat to the children in my community.

Mondays

Every Monday during term time we run two childminder classes. These are attended by childminder friendship groups who bring their little ones along, we run two back-to-back sessions in a local pub for the children and childminders.

We also run a parent and child class on a Monday morning, which has been running for over eight years and continues to be very popular.

Tuesdays

On Tuesday mornings we run another childminder class with a different group of childminders, one of whom has been attending for over 10 years – which shows just how much families love Boogie Beat.

We also visit a number of local nurseries and preschools in our area on Tuesdays and we visit some childminders houses too.

Wednesdays

Wednesdays are spent visiting a local chain of nurseries in Farnham and the local area. We run two sessions in each of three nurseries, and we have been delivering Boogie Beat here for the past 10 years. It’s wonderful to see children grow and develop as they move through the different age groups.

Thursdays

Thursdays are always busy. We run our popular parent and child class, which often has more than 15 children attending with their parents.

We also deliver preschool and nursery sessions in the morning, and in the afternoon we visit a variety of care homes, bringing together residents and children from local preschools and nurseries. These intergenerational sessions are incredibly special and heart-warming.

Fridays

On Fridays we visit a nursery that we’ve been working with for over eight years. We run two back-to-back sessions here and it’s a lovely way to round off the week.

Weekends & Holidays

At weekends we run birthday parties, many of which come from children who attend our classes or who see us in their nurseries.

We mainly operate in term time, but we also offer holiday sessions and holiday parties, which are always very popular.

We feel incredibly lucky that many of the settings we work with have been with us for so many years. It’s truly magical to share Boogie Beat with so many children – watching their imaginations come alive, their confidence grow and their love of music and movement blossom.

If you’ve ever wondered what it might be like to run a Boogie Beat franchise in your own area, we would love to hear from you. Get in touch and let’s chat about how you could bring Boogie Beat magic to children in your community. It really is the best job.
